What kind of shapes can be created from a single line? This metal sculpture explored the versatility and potential of a line. I cut steel pencil rod into thirteen pieces of 57.5 inches each, then employed diverse methods on each piece and freely assembled these pieces into a sculpture, which begins to resemble a tree, and references the fractal-like repetition in the way plants grow.
