House

March - May 2018.
New Haven, Connecticut.
MIG Welding, Vise,nk, Ironworker and Hammer.





Process

House is a self-portrait using 5’9” steel pencil road. The aim was to build a house and see how to explode it. I welded a simple house structure, cut pieces of pencil rod to my height, thread a tripod through the house and welded them together. Once the sculpture stood, I cut me-sized rods and welded them to the tripod. This method has no end and leads to endless growth.
